Functional Skill

LEM has been offering qualifications in English and Mathematics for close to 10 years with the aim of helping young people and adults to succeed in all that they choose to do in work and life.

English and Mathematics are essential subjects that are included in most training and education programmes. They are a required component of Diplomas, Foundation Learning Programmes and Apprenticeships. Functional Skills can be studied as stand-alone qualifications or as a stepping stone to GCSEs.

Our new Functional Skills Mathematics , English, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) qualifications, have been designed to help learners of all ages and levels, supporting them to develop and demonstrate the practical skills needed in real-life situations confidently.
